First of all I would like to start with negative comments/reviews about these drying balls.1. They don't leave lint on your black clothes! I wear black cotton leggings every day. And they certainly were put to the test the first time I threw all 5 pairs of my black leggings and other black clothing in the dryer with these balls on. NO SINGLE HAIR LEFT.2. NO STATIC. To be honest, if your clothes still have static after use, it's probably because of the quality of your dryer or how hot you get. Because after using these balls in the dryer with all my sheets and clothes, there was absolutely no static electricity.3. You are not loud! Normal people, you really think that a soft ball of yarn is so annoyingly loud that you should give it a bad review. My dryer didn't make any more noise than usual when drying a lot of laundry. I suppose you can hear a little bump here and there. You can tell they are there. But with a pile of clothes, it's not an unbearable noise. Sounds like a normal load of laundry.5. no smell You're just a ball of yarn. They don't smell of anything unless you apply essential oil to them. It is great! Overall I love these dry balls! The price is great! They will save me money in the long run so I don't have to buy as many dryer sheets. I could always buy a pack here and there to add a little flavor to my laundry load. But whatever, I think it's fantastic. They remove all lint and hair from my clothes and bedding. I have very long hair and sometimes when I dry my clothes WITHOUT these tangles I find clumps of hair sticking to everything. But with balls they collect all the hair and then I just pick them off and throw them away. Now I can't tell if they reduced the drying time. They seem to speed up drying the laundry a bit as they bounce up and hit the clothes. But with heavy loads like my Carhartt work pants, I can't say for sure. Anyway, I don't care because that's not why I bought them! I highly recommend getting them and trying them out for yourself.
