I used this to create a "hay" effect for my ceramic cave. It wasn't too shiny or glittery. Once we added the subdued lighting, it had just enough brilliance to make it look like "moonlight" hitting "hay" under "stars." I think we got more compliments on this fake "hay" than all of our other Christmas decorations combined.
