I had to use tape instead of screws since the raised door is only 1/4 inch thick. Then I downloaded it and it has stayed ever since. The test of time will surely tell. I ordered this particular model because it is roomier than many others and I wanted space. I'll update later if the adhesive strip doesn't work, but so far I'm very happy with it. UPDATE 4/24/21: It's been over a year and the tape is still holding strong. We just repainted our cabinets and had to remove all of the hardware including this rack. It was quite difficult to remove. He's really stuck there! Simply clean the surface and allow it to dry completely before installation. I think I'll have to order a new one to get a different tape as we destroyed the original by removing it.
