This trio of forest friends are so cute! The shakers themselves are slightly larger than traditional egg shakers, but they're certainly easy to use. They are also wider than round ones. They also have a flat spot on the bottom for them to sit on. They also don't make as much noise as a traditional percussion egg cooker. However, they are toys and serve that purpose well. My 1 year old loves playing with them and carrying them around. I love anything with a Forest Friends theme, so not only are they fun to play with, but they're cute to look at too. They feel strong, the stitching feels secure, and they're kid-approved! Only one question remains: Where are the mouths of the fox and the hedgehog? :) Before I bought them I was curious how they sound, so I've included a video so you know before you buy!
