I usually wear 8.5" shoes and can wear 39" or 40" Vibrams depending on style and fit. Based on the reviews I downsized to a 39 and it fits great. The toe seams don't press against my toes, and the toes aren't insanely long (like I assume if I got a 40 based on other people's reviews). I LOVE the color! I have Fiery Coral and they are very bright and fun! These shoes are SUPER light and breathable. My feet are still sweaty (but that's because I'm running in Louisiana in July. It's basically like running in a soup bowl in this humidity). a little before doing a check. I do a 30 minute circuit in the morning and then 1.5 runs in my area (would love to do more distance again but time is limited now with a baby) and it's really nice to run on the pavement. , ****** That being said, I've been running minimalist for a few years now, please don't try to wear them if you don't know how to walk in them properly, ruin your life!* ******* My only complaint about them, which caused me to give them 4 stars instead of 5, is that the tongue digs into the top of the foot. It's not so bad that I can't take it, but for now it will definitely keep me from wearing them for any longer than just my morning workouts. I hope the more I wear them the more they stretch and get softer. However, I also have a very high arch so I usually can't wear flip flops or trainers because the top cuts into the bones in the back of my foot. However, I've never had this problem with five fingers, so I was shocked.
