Review on 📸 Neewer Speedlite for Panasonic Cameras: Digital Standard by Lamar Hopkins

I got one of these and wireless triggers, after a day of portrait photography I bought another flash. Works great with my Panasonic GH4, Canon 80d and Canon 5d3. For portraits, weddings and products these things are amazing for the price. Insane value compared to hundreds of dollars for other flashes. At full power these things are pretty bright, not as bright as some of the flashes I've used but bright. ) they throw a lot of light around which is great when using a lot of spread. Although this is not necessary for normal shooting. Actually, I don't usually do that. I just thought the photo was cool, so I uploaded it. The battery life is so good that I don't have to worry about it. (I use high-capacity rechargeable batteries.) Overall build quality is good and the hot shoe mount is solid enough. They are made of durable plastic. I dropped one on my foot from about 10 feet and although it hurt my foot the flash was fine. Note that they're entirely handcrafted, so you'll need to know what you're doing, but they're easy enough to learn. Using a fully manual camera, lenses and flash will teach you a lot about photography. The only real downside is that the wireless triggers will not work if within 2 feet of the transmitter. Which is a problem if you need Flash. off camera but still pretty close. For example, I've found that covering the transmitter with my hand works, but doesn't work without it. Strange. But that's really a blow to the transmitter, the flash works great. If you're just starting out with lightning, I'd recommend starting here. At $35 it's a steal.
