Jan 2019 Update: I still really like this bag and have been using it as my main work bag all the time since purchasing it without finding any signs of wear or other problems. The only thing that bothers me is that the metal ring that adjusts the length of the strap keeps slipping and I have to adjust it at least once or twice a day, and even more often when the bag is particularly full. It's a little annoying but other than that the design and quality of the bag is high enough to make up for that small flaw. ---------------- ------------- The bag is well designed and made of high quality materials. It's a little heavy but seems very strong. The shoulder strap is comfortable and long enough to carry a crossbody bag (I'm about 5ft 5in). The diagonal zip pocket on the front flap is more decorative than functional, but there are many other compartments and pockets so it is not needed. It does not matter. It's good for quick access to small things like keys or a phone. I expect it will do very well as an everyday work bag.
