I did not realize how easily the kids would take to this set. This is essentially a progressive set where you can watch Youtube videos to learn how to solve each one as you get better. The kids quickly mastered the 2x2 and Triangle. They are to the point with those two where they time themselves to see who can finish faster. They have yet to master the 3x3 and up to the Megaminx but they are certainly trying. We did not need to adjust the tension. My 8 year old and up to my 13 year old can turn and twist them fine. These are great brain teasing puzzles and fidget toys. It makes it easy to get kids off devices and there are no stickers to unpeel to discourage cheating!
