My sewing machine fits and leaves room. My old computer controlled Singer is quite heavy but seems to hold one in your pocket! There is tension on the straps but it looks like they are holding up well too. The zipped pockets offer space for many sewing utensils. The inner zippered compartments are made of clear plastic so you can see the items inside. I just hope they last a long time! (With how little I sew, they'll probably hold up!) It takes up a lot less space than a hard case, so fits in the closet easier! I recently received my sewing machine and it came without a case so I'm very glad I have it!
