I was so excited to try out the MYZOO OBLONG Transparent Clear Acrylic Floating Cat Shelf (or the Clear Kitty Shelf, as I like to call it). At first, I was impressed by how stylish it looked in my home - it truly is a beautiful piece. And my cat, Mittens, seemed to love perching on it. However, after only a few weeks of use, I started to notice some issues. First of all, the shelf isn't as sturdy as I would have liked. Mittens is a pretty small cat, but I still worry about it holding her weight over time. Additionally, the shelf isn't as functional as I hoped it would be. The surface is slippery and doesn't provide the traction that a carpeted surface would. And since it's transparent, it becomes dirty quickly and is difficult to clean without leaving smudges. Overall, while the Clear Kitty Shelf is certainly stylish, it falls short on functionality and durability. If you're looking for a cat shelf that will truly stand the test of time, you may want to look elsewhere.
