Review on Regalo Swing Down 54-Inch Extra Long Bed Rail Guard: Enhanced Safety with Reinforced Anchor System by Lynn Martinez

The quality has deteriorated significantly. We bought the same product 4 years ago for my first child. (In the photos you can see the large rail with longer legs - this is an older model which is sturdy). My kids love to hop on the bed so we have a mattress on the floor with a bar on the side. There is a HUGE difference in stability and durability between what we just bought and the previous one, unfortunately in a negative way. The old model rests on long supports and practically does not swing. The new one is much thinner and easier to pull out from under the mattress as the 2 year old kicks it with his feet. The railing cover was torn by putting it in its rightful place. I would like our hands. on the old model. Edit: My daughter has fallen between the railing and her mattress several times in her sleep (due to the weak construction and handrail giving). She woke up in a panic because the railing hurt her. Definitely return now. This product does not fulfill its function. The quality has gotten so bad.
