I bought them because of the advertised 3M adhesive, which in my experience has met my expectations for various applications. I used these in a CCTV install job to hang cable on freshly installed painted and unpainted drywall, concrete, cinder block, plastic, and metal. As long as the surface was free of dust, I got good adhesion. In fact, I was able to tighten and cut the cables using the maximum force setting on my zip tie installation tool without waiting the suggested one day between placing and use, and had only two failures in 70+ instances (both due to contamination on the surface).
