The gamepad is neat, but I worry that my fingers will get used to pressing the same buttons over and again if I use it constantly. If you play regularly, say once a week or more, a copy may not hold up to the original. The battery life is roughly four to five hours, during which time you can tinker with the wire without causing any major issues. Hired Experts: It's been over two months, and it's been working perfectly (albeit I don't use it every day). It works flawlessly with both wifi and cable connections to a computer. Distinct drawbacks: The computer's sound has been accidentally configured to play through the gamepad; this is a simple issue to rectify by going to the Settings menu, then clicking on System, then Sound, and finally choosing an output device. Since I can't think of a good place to check the battery life, I just keep playing until the gamepad dies (unlike the original, the LED doesn't blink when the battery is low).
