I wanted to stop using liquid chlorine bleach for laundry as the shelf life of liquid bleach is relatively short, so after reading the reviews I settled on Nelly's Oxygen Bleach. Today I used it for the first time on a lot of white clothes and I was very happy with the results. This product is odorless so no bleach smell is left on clothes and bleaches everything very well. I don't plan on using it to wash anything other than white, so I can't confirm how it handles dark clothes. Some people claim it left marks on the washing machine drum, but it left no marks in my washing machine. I have a front loading washing machine and there really aren't any specific directions on the packaging as to where to add the powder, so I decided to put a scoop of oxygen bleach in the dispenser bowl along with a scoop of the detergent I used and it did works great. I thought about putting oxygen bleach in the bleach slot, but it really wasn't necessary. Some people claim to put it straight into the drum and it will probably work just as well. Overall I am glad I tried this product as it is a great replacement for liquid chlorine bleach for laundry and will continue to buy this product in the future.
