We had the same case for an earlier, much older iPad that we no longer use. However, we had to destroy the old case to get the iPad as the key didn't work anymore. Anyway, before ordering this case, I wasn't quite sure if it would fit the new iPad generation. It turns out it fits. They supply a plastic adapter that fits the latest generation iPad and fits like a glove. The case looks good and does what it's supposed to. Security wise, as others have mentioned, NO, this case is not indestructible. YES, someone can steal the device if they really want it. This suitcase is not designed to withstand the flares and jaws of life. The idea of the case is to deter and apprehend the thieves. If you're looking for an impenetrable case, I would suggest that you don't put your iPad in that area to begin with.
