These little microphones are becoming more and more popular. As far as I know, the sound quality of a microphone depends to some extent on the additional headphones you use with it. Without them, recording or playback is not possible. I was hoping to catch my cats sniffing the mic but he couldn't. As others have said, the cable seems very flimsy, but it works for its intended purpose - video recording and late night karaoke.
