This lamp was easy to install. You screw it in and basically connect like you would with any Bluetooth device. The app works well and renders various colors fairly accurately. However, one area of the application is written entirely in a foreign language, which is quite intuitive and doesn't pose a major problem for me. The tone was slightly lower than the tone I've heard from another bulb I've bought in the past, but still acceptable. I wish you could set a default setting or a color to show every time you turn it on, or at least saved presets. Maybe you can, but I didn't get it. I love being able to change color with the iPhone. I used to lose the little remote controls that came with the other lights and then you get shot.
