Review on FITUEYES Wood Base Floor TV Stand for 32-65 inch TVs, Modern Corner TV Stands for Bedroom, Height Adjustable Universal Swivel TV Mountoom by Dave Lopez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Of course, this added to my work

I had a good entertainment center. But I recently got a HUGE Klipsch center speaker which made things clunky on the entertainment center with my XB Series X and PS5, which couldn't be any lower than the old ones due to the awkward new dimensions. So I figured I could take the TV (which was on VESA legs, not its own stand) out of the frame, onto this stand behind the entertainment center, and make things a little easier. Of course my TV to AVR EARC cable isn't long enough and now I also need longer XB and PS5 cables as they need to go to the TV until HDMI 2.1 enabled AVRs come out. So, I ordered a few things and a TV that isn't even plugged in anymore. But hopefully it'll be worth it when it's all done. This stand is very solidly made, so I'm not worried about my expensive OLED display hanging on it. 65 inches and I could even handle it myself to get it off the old VESA feet on it. The assembly is quick and easy, the instructions are well explained. All parts are well packaged so I didn't have any scratches or dents. They include a couple of little rubber feet for the floor, but on carpeted floors it would have been an utter pain to position things so I skipped those. I was concerned about the height if my TV was going to be high enough above things and have enough extra height, so I lowered the brackets on the back to a different position on the hooks to lower it a bit. The TV swivels easily from side to side (which made it REALLY difficult to shove in the corner) and the shelf (which I can't use with my setup) was easy to adjust, but the shelf bracket is the only thing is still plastic, both for the bracket and for the part where the screw goes, which seems like a pretty bad choice. , have a metal thread in a plastic thread portion. It's not designed for heavy weight, so keep that in mind. I had to put something underneath my entertainment center to raise it about an inch or so so it could slide back far enough to sit properly over the base, but that way everything would fit nicely. The only reason I didn't give that 5 stars is that while the VESA mounts had small locking elements that could be screwed into place on the rails once mounted so they couldn't come loose, there is NO way to lock them to block sliding from side to side on these rails. This made this position a real bear as the TV wanted to slide VERY left and right while I was trying to get the base into position, which created a real balance issue during the process. You need a way to attach it to the rails so that it doesn't slide back and forth on the stand but just rotates on its axis like it should. my longer HDMI 2.1 cables, but the stand itself works great. Really hurt here but I'm looking forward to next weekend coming and having things where they should be and everything in place and back in use.
