I work nights as an airplane mechanic and good lighting is very important, especially when you have to get into hard-to-reach places. This headlamp gave me exactly that, it's nice and bright even on low settings. It "clicks" smoothly when zooming in and out, and you don't feel any resistance between the moving parts. The straps themselves feel good and are easy to adjust. Look, they last a while. The only thing I have is that the plastic around the bulbs themselves feels a little cheap, but I guess we'll see how long it lasts. as long as I keep using it. And while it says it's waterproof, it's definitely not waterproof. I had to work in some rain and when I was done (about 1 hour) there was water in the bulb so I had to wait for it to weather out before using it again. Last but not least, the battery takes a long time to charge, even if you only use it for a short time. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but it becomes problematic when you need to use light extensively. Overall I'm happy with it and for $30 you can't go wrong, it does what it's supposed to and gets the job done. listed.
