I can't really give this any more than 4 stars because of one feature that I don't like. If you happen to like this feature then its definitely 5 stars.The pad that holds the mechanism to the dash is not removable, at least not remove and reuse. In the instructions they recommend not removing it. Once you stick it down, it stays right there if you are using the phone holder or not.I'm sure this is what makes it rugged and it won't fly off your dash, but I don't want a permanent disc on my dash.It does have nice thick/soft padding cushioning the phone. Everything that swivels or extends does it smoothly.Very nicely made, but until I find a way to make the pad removable I'm not installing this on my dash. Maybe I'll try Velcro?
