Elevated heel is painful on ball of foot!

I really wanted to like these tennis shoes! I like the color, I liked the air cushion from front to back. That was what I was looking for… to provide cloud-like cushioning when walking, standing, moving fast on my feet through-out my shift. But when I put these shoes on, I immediately noticed that my feet were sliding forward and I was walking on the balls of my feet every time I took a step. Kinda like walking in high-heeled shoes…not made foe working long hours! The cushion was there, but the elevated heel ruined the whole concept of comfort and impact support. Oh my gosh! And to add, they slant inward slightly. When walking, I was always trying to correct the position of my feet in the shoes. My feet/toes were screaming "pain” and throbbing by the end of my 12.5 hours work shift, And had painful shin splints. I could barely make the walk to my car to drive home…and they hurt for several days afterwards. I am so disappointed. I am returning them, and I guess I will just frustratingly keep on looking!

Pros
  • Fits great and very comfortable!
Cons
  • The slip-on style may not provide enough support for those with wide feet
