I have always used a regular bath towel but decided to try this one. I try to minimize damage to my hair by growing out years of highlights. When I came to, I found that my hair was very wavy, almost curly. Probably 2b or 2c, wave pattern. These towels are very soft and absorb water very well. I've noticed that my hair dries faster than usual and holds its curl shape probably even better than I expected. Plus, they cost the same as one of the more expensive hair towels that specifically claim to work well for the "curly girl" technique.
