We are very happy with the installation and the results

We are very happy with these led strips. I installed it on a 65 inch Samsung QLED TV. It looks like all the criticisms raised by others in previous reviews have been addressed. easily separated from each other. One end of each strip is a male connector and the other end is a female connector. A vertical strip with IR sensor and USB cable and another strip of the same length for the opposite side of the TV. A long strip connecting the two vertical strips and a fourth long strip connecting to one of the vertical strips. All four strips have clearly visible arrows on them so it's very obvious how they should be connected. There are also three flexible tape strips that can be folded and twisted and used to connect vertical strips to horizontal strips at each corner. I connected the whole system together in a straight line on the floor first to make sure everything worked. some from the reviews and tape the strips to the back of the tv to make sure i know they will fit and where to put them. I reconnected everything, folded the tapes and tested again. Everything worked. The back of our Samsung TV is horizontally ribbed so it looks beautiful even when it's in the environment it's being displayed in. I didn't know how well the glue on the back of the strips held up, but it's still holding up well after a few days. I used the alcohol wipe provided by Bason to wipe down the area where the strips will be applied before permanently applying them. The adhesive side with the Bason inscription peeled off easily. The outside came off a bit in one place, but part of the backing remained on the adhesive. It was easy to fix with a fingernail. The USB cable permanently attached to the end of the sensor is white and very flexible. I wish it was longer. The Samsung TV uses a "OneConnect" box, which allows you to hide all the cables even in a desktop environment like mine. The USB port is in the OneConnect box and the cable is approximately 18-24 inches long and cannot be reached. I bought a USB extension cable and was able to route it through the TV stand so it was hidden too. The remote control is easy to use. . Because the sensor is hidden on the back of the TV, we found that the Bason remote wasn't powerful enough to control the light from our usual viewing position. But it's not a problem. We tend to keep the room fairly dark at night, at least in the TV area. We turn on the lights when it gets dark outside and leave them on until we're done watching TV for the night. They draw about 2.5 watts on low settings and 4.5 watts on maximum settings. We leave it one setting brighter than the lowest setting. We just use the Bason remote and approach the side of the TV and then the sensor picks up the IR signal bouncing off the wall. View as a device on your Harmony remote. You are in the system. Harmony gives a strong signal that HTS can control from anywhere we sit. We chose the color that best suits the wall behind the TV. We did this to make my wife more comfortable. She does not like sudden changes in light on the TV, and such a backlight creates a more comfortable environment. We believe it was a good investment.
