I just bought this car seat and am planning on getting 2 more but wanted buyers to know that if you have a small dog the best way is to get a car seat that works for you and your pet should measure your pet from crown to tail in an upright position. I originally ordered a small car seat for my 7 pound dog. NOT RIGHT. I ended up sending it back and paying for the restocking. While my dog fit perfectly in the seat, he was unable to sit. The seat was too low! How embarrassing for my girlfriend. So make sure there is enough room in the chair for this precious little dog's head! Don't waste your money on returns. Measure correctly the first time!
