IF/IF an attempt was made to transfer data or run a speed test (each time with 40MB of data), the repeater disabled one or more signal frequency nodes about 94% of the time. When using only text modes, it was necessary to type text and then plug the phone back into the antenna before hitting send, especially when trying to send a photo or voice message. Replacing the antennas in/on/around the vehicles didn't help. I've found I've had better luck putting the mobile hotspot in a plastic bag and attaching it to the sunroof rather than this booster. I understand that the signal gain is only -45dB, but the antenna attenuation issues along with the lack of reliable data transmission make this device a failure for me. However, as the name suggests, your circumstances may be different. An expensive replacement for a vacuum cleaner that does nothing but _ _ _ _ .
