Review on Nutrient-Rich Royal Canin Mother & Babycat Dry Cat Food: Ideal for Newborn Kittens, Pregnant, and Nursing Cats by Paul Romero

Royal Canin is an excellent brand of cat food. The Mother & Babycat formula was specially developed for mother cats and their babies. It has a higher nutritional value than other brands of kitten food. Royal Canin also makes a cat food mix that can be given to kittens from four or five months of age, but Mother & Babycat covers the first four months. Months in a cat's life that are most important for proper development. It also spreads to the queen, keeping her healthy as her body is depleted of essential nutrients while she is breastfeeding her babies. You can add a little water to the kibble until it softens, then mash the pieces lightly to create a paste-like texture. However, I have found that it is much more beneficial to feed dry food than in combination with mousse (wet food). Royal Canin also offers Ultra-Soft Mousse in its Mother & BabyCat line. As I mentioned in my Royal Canin Mother & Babycat Mousse review, several of my girls have had kittens over the last few years. I have also adopted pregnant cats. It is extremely important that kittens and pregnant and young mother cats receive the right nutrition. I feed Royal Canin Mother and Babycat to all litters of kittens and their mothers. This is great for their brain, body and coat. I also feed it to pregnant cats to aid in the prenatal development of her litters and to ensure the mother cat is getting all the nutrients she needs. A pregnant cat will eat for more than one baby, and in most cases will eat for five or six more babies. Mother & Babycat dry food (and mousse) is ideal for feeding kittens. The size of the food pieces is much smaller than other brands of kitten food. This makes life a lot easier for little cats who are learning to eat, chew and digest dry food. Kittens don't have as sharp teeth as adults when weaned. The softer the food, the easier it is for them to eat. Texture is very appealing to kittens as they develop their preferences for the texture and taste of food. It is very easy to digest. It provides the essential nutrients that developing kittens need. You can start using Mother & Babycat when the kittens start weaning, between one and two months of age depending on the kitten. A weaned kitten will nurse its mother even up to six months of age. The process of feeding calms the kittens, even if the mother cat is out of milk. Typically, most kittens are fully weaned between the ages of two and a half and three months, but some continue to nurse for several months. While this is normal, if the cat food has good nutritional value, weaning times will decrease. Royal Canin is an excellent brand of cat food. I highly recommend it. I also recommend buying it from Revain. Because Royal Canin is a high quality cat food and non-toxic, it is a very expensive cat food in my opinion. At Revain, prices are fair, there are always discounts and special offers on pet food, and with a subscription and savings account, you can save even more money with regular deliveries. I paid a whopping $24.99 + tax for a bag of this size food when I bought them from various pet stores. I've never paid more than $19 with Revain. Revain represents excellent value and money well spent. I no longer use Mother & Babycat as my cats have reached the right age. I switched to them for another meal. However, if I have another pregnant cat or litter of kittens: I will use it again. I swear by it.
