The 'ol switcheroo: Novelty Lighting
If it wasn't part of a Christmas present for a little girl I would return it without opening the box, the box is very different from the one in the photo. What I bought was supposed to be an LED strip with a 12V 3A or 36W power supply. What I have is 12V 2A or 24W. It might not be a big deal to most buyers, but it's a enough difference in brightness for most people to notice if the bulbs are nearby. They may be of good quality (I'm skeptical) but it just annoys me that someone somewhere would find this switch acceptable.
