This monitor is fantastic. It's very technical, but it was very easy for me to set up and install the app on my Android phone. I love that I can talk through the built in microphone, I can turn on music when my daughter wakes up and that it has a built in thermometer. I was even able to take a picture with my camera and send it to my mother. My favorite features are the on-screen icons that tell me how much sound or motion has been detected. I love having this app on my phone so I can test it out quickly and easily without pulling out my laptop - the night camera is fantastic. All device settings can be adjusted via your phone. I found out the Kindle doesn't have an app for it, but who cares? I always have a phone nearby. My husband also downloaded the app to his phone and set up the My D-Link feature. He said it was easy, and today he looked into her room several times. He likes to play with all the features but he loves gadgets so I'm not surprised! In fact, I cannot understand how easy it is to set up and install this product. Maybe 10 minutes? It probably only took so long because I had to stop and entertain my kid! I'm so glad I bought this particular monitor and not another.
