Review on Retro Rocket Ride by Radio Flyer by Lee Wilson

The skate itself is of the highest quality and the child who received it liked it very much. She rode it all day and has continued to ride it most days since receiving the gift. It's very cute, especially with the aviator hat we bought to go with it. The problem with this is that when you press the buttons, a loud male voice utters various rocket-related phrases. It's surprisingly loud and may startle a small child. (Also, this is a male voice, although it could have been either male or female, making it more toy-like modern.) I can't stress enough that this is a VERY LOUD male voice and will startle the adults in the room, who were not yet ready for his greatness. Great toy and we would recommend it but wish it didn't make any sounds at all or just made zoom sounds, space jingles, glitter sounds etc. It doesn't need a human voice speaking as mission control.
