Like several other reviewers I discovered large dog beds are roughly the same size as crib mattresses. I wanted a new cover for a memory foam pet bed, so far the sheets have been holding up and approved by both the dog and the cat. Dog is a chewer so they're definitely strong sheets, I wouldn't rank them soft but some fabric softener would probably handle that. The pets don't mind the texture of softness but an infant might. They're breathable sheets, the animals aren't very tidy so they hold up dirt, scratching, nibbling. Definitely could imagine these withstanding infants and toddlers well.
