I'm so glad I didn't pay attention to the comments this time and complained that it's too small and probably intended for a young child. I have a 22" head circumference (and very fine, sparse hair) and it fits me perfectly. I finally found a hat that I don't have to return due to the size. However, I did notice a thread at one end where the bill meets the body of the cap. I didn't want to return the cap because of such a small detail (almost imperceptible but I knew it was there and it's very tiring) so I cut the loose thread leaving a white dot on the black beak. I blacked it out with a Pilot black rollerball and pinned it. So now I'm good to go and very happy with my purchase.
