Review on ๐Ÿฅค YETI Rambler 20 oz Tumbler: Stainless Steel with Vacuum Insulation, MagSlider Lid, and Sleek Black Design by Nick Andep

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Almost perfect for drinking glasses and water glasses

I'm with you pleased with this Rambler with a few minor flaws. I did a lot of research and watched countless YouTube comparison and review videos to decide between this and the competition. While other brands have proven hot drinks stay hotter longer and cold drinks colder longer, this Rambler is easier to open for drinking and easier to disassemble for cleaning. Everyone has a different opinion on what temperature counts as hot and what counts as cold. For myself, I've found this Rambler to perform better when it's hot and not when it's cold. It seems that the ice doesn't last more than 1-2 hours, even if the poured drink comes out of the fridge already cold. Hot 18-20 ounce black coffee will still be warm in 7-8 hours if I don't touch it before that 7 hour mark. Every time I open the lid to drink, some heat is released which lowers the temperature. From what I've seen on YouTube and read here at Revain, there seems to be a 50/50 chance someone gets a good hat or a great one. Yeti advertises the magnetic lid as "spill-proof", not "spill-proof". Some videos show this rambler being held upside down without a drop coming out. Other videos show liquid leaking from a sliding magnet. Absolutely nothing leaks through the internal seal around the lid, which is great. I unfortunately leak from a retractable lid with a magnet. If Yeti could figure out how to design the lid so the retractable magnet wouldn't leak and keep it warm for a few more hours, then I think Yeti could have a monopoly on the market. .

Pros
  • These ramps come standard with our YETI MagSlider, the only beverage lid that uses the power of magnets to keep water, beer or your favorite beverage sealed
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
