I was looking for inexpensive full-size headphones for HF bands and found them. Cups that help reduce outside noise. The characteristics that make them great for radio communications are the lack of high frequency response. They're marketed for their bass, which is also a little underwhelming for a headphone of this size; However, the overall result is rather flat, albeit deficient in highs, which is ideal for HF/SWL ham radio environments where noise is common, but perhaps not quite ideal for media audio such as music or video where a wider frequency response is required. I use an adapter to connect these headphones to my Icom IC-718. An adapter is not included but is required for use with devices with 1/4" headphone jacks.
