Nice and lightweight for warm weather. I'm bald, treated for precancerous skin conditions, and sometimes baseball caps or straw garden hats still let the sun through the holes. It has a nice smooth fit under headgear but also looks great on its own. My wife thinks I look good in it. She used to sew me something heavier but her pattern uses more fabric and although her back is longer I prefer to wear them in winter.
