I love this soap: Update

I bought this soap a few months ago after researching some questionable ingredients in my shampoo and shower gel. I've also been trying to reduce my plastic waste and these bars help a lot because I no longer have to buy shampoo, shower gel and shaving cream. I love the mild flavor of these bars. It's refreshing but not overwhelming. The soap foams well and is ideal as a shampoo. The bar lasts a long time (1-2 months) if used correctly. Keep it in the soap dish and don't keep it under the water for a long time, just need to run it under the running water quickly. You should also lather it up in your hands instead of using the wand directly on your body. The only time I apply a strip directly to my body is when I run a few strokes through my hair, which I find easier than trying to lather up enough to wash my hair. There are only two downsides that I can find in using this soap. First, it's the price. I usually find buying things on Amazon saves money, but in this case you'd be better off checking your local store to see if they have them. I found a store that sells it for about $4.19 per tile while they are about $5.40 per tile. However, if you can't find a place near you that sells them, I find it cheaper to buy these two packs from Amazon than ordering from the original website with shipping. The second disadvantage is that this soap can dry out the skin. I bought it for the first time in winter and noticed that my skin becomes very dry. It is important to moisturize your skin from time to time after using this soap. I don't have as much trouble with it now that it's almost summer, but I still rub it on occasionally. Overall, this is a great soap for those looking to save money, be more environmentally friendly, and reduce the amount of questionable things they put on their bodies. - ------------------------------------------------ - - Update: I love Dr. Bronner's soap still, but I've found my skin is too sensitive to use it. My skin has become very dry over the past year and a half. I've since started making my own soap, which is both fun and inexpensive. By making my own soap, I can control how much it cleans and moisturizes; what can not be done when buying. i still love dr Bronner's and will always recommend it, but if you have very sensitive skin handmade soap from a small soap maker might be a better choice.
