I wasn't sure how excited I was about this purchase but I have to say. I am very happy. While there are some other quality cages available for the GH5, I didn't want to break the bank and found that this package includes more than the others (particularly the top handle, rails, and rail mount). The overall size is nice and compact, and the build quality is solid with tight connections. The handle attaches firmly to the top of the cage, and the cage itself has multiple 1/4" threaded holes for mounting a variety of accessories. Holes in the cage provide ample access to the battery, SD cards, HDMI port and dials. Given the size of your camera, the hot shoe is blocked from the top of the cage, a hot shoe mount is on the top right. An additional hot shoe mount is located on the front end of the grip which can be used to attach an external monitor, microphone, light etc. are threaded so they can be extended if required. I added a "15mm clamp rail block with cold shoe adapter" on the back so I can mount my audio hardware. For long lenses, you can add two 4" extension rods/rails (or just move the included rails) and purchase an add-on to support the lens. Overall, this is a pretty solid cage at a reasonable price. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it to GH3/4/5 owners.
