I was looking at thinner fleece blankets. I do have a lot of fleece or other types of blankets, but nothing beats a good wool blanket for winter. I wanted the red and black style because I plan to use it as a larger blanket for Christmas. We love having a throw to snuggle and film over the sofa during the holidays, especially around Christmas. We love Christmas movies. He looked neither too thin nor too fat. There are a few minor bugs, which is normal for the price. There are hundreds of other blankets of this quality. Feels like wool. It might be on the skinny side, but THIS REALLY SAVES ME. It's a bit big for a throw but we don't care, it fits nicely on the back of my sofa. It's small enough not to take up much space in my linen closet. I love the deep colors red and black. It's not like the fake version of a rug that you find when you buy a rug made out of something else that tries to mimic a real rug. This one is real. If you want something similar and better quality, be prepared to pay a lot more on other sites.
