Here's the deal. When I first got it, it charged surprisingly quickly. After a few weeks I started having charging issues. Had to disconnect iPhone, reconnect to make sure it was connected, then magic happened, it started charging. I think the key is if you plug it in and don't see it charging, unplug it from your phone and plug it back in. I've found that I have to do this often.
