I was delighted to find these Bona Fide glass nail files turned out to be almost identical to my Bliss Kiss and Mont Blue glass nail files. You can tell it is real etched tempered glass as it is thinner and lighter, has smooth handles and the etched surface is rougher at the handle, but along the length of the blade the surface becomes smooth towards the tip despite these files still nail very quickly. I have tried to show in the photos that these files are almost identical in appearance and size to my other authentic Czech tempered glass files, even down to the cases. However, cheaper glass files are thicker and longer, making them a bit easier to hold but more difficult to use because the thickness gets in the way. Also, cheaper files don't file as quickly and smoothly. I am delighted that these hardened Czech Bona Fide engraved glass files match the quality and performance of my Bless Kiss and Mont Blue glass files. This is exactly what I was looking for.
