I'm having a hard time really reviewing this mousepad as the product itself seems great but I suspect it has been out of stock for too long. I ordered an XXL world map mouse pad. Shortly after it arrived, I unpacked it and put it on the table in my office. At first there was a very strong plastic/chemical smell that stunk throughout the room but I knew it would go away after a while. The size and feel of the mat was fantastic, and I was able to put my keyboard and mouse in with plenty of room. The printing on the mouse pad was a little hard to read and looked faded for some reason, but it had to be closed most of the time anyway, so I didn't care. After a short use I was satisfied with my purchase. But that was until I felt something crawl up my arm. I looked at my desk and noticed a handful of tiny ants crawling around me. I cleaned them up and went about my business only to be interrupted several times over the next hour by ants crawling over my arms. I looked around my desk and around my office but didn't notice them anywhere except the keyboard and, you know, my new mouse pad. The new pad quickly rolled into my driveway where I noticed more ants coming out of the mouse pad over time. Aside from a few leftover ants after I took out the mouse pad, my office is free of them again. I'm not sure where they managed to break into my notebook - grocery store, delivery warehouse, etc., but since the mousepad was only in my mailbox for about 2 minutes before it was moved to my house and on my table, it is safe to say it didn't happen at my house. It's also safe to say that this mouse pad won't be coming back to my house.
