Review on ⌚ Stainless Quartz Pocket Men's Watches by Charles Hubert Paris by Dan Phillips

This is a beautiful pocket watch. The face is very graceful and unlike many others. Keeps time very well. Reminds me of the ones my grandfather wore. I received it on November 26th, immediately took it out of the box and started using it daily. It spent all day, every day, in the pocket of my Wrangler jeans. No problem until last night. At the end of the day, I was pulling stuff out of my pockets when I noticed a chain dangling from my belt. The watch was still in the watch pocket. However, the arch is gone. I used it four or five times a day and didn't notice that the onion had weakened. I'm pretty sure I didn't get caught on the chain. (In any case, the hook that attaches to the shackle is flimsy enough to break under stress, I've broken several over the last 40 years). I've also noticed that cheaper watches don't have shackle breakage issues. I've thrown in Tissot and Bulova pocket watches in the past for the same looks. From this I conclude that a pocket watch is only as good as its weakest (cheapest?) part. And I think I still haven't learned to buy more expensive watches. Spring.
