The first subject was a very temperamental angle, you have to pluck medium-short hair with this thing. Long hair probably isn't a problem, but I don't want it to be that long, so I'm not sure. I used to have a Braun Series 7 or 9? About $120 and came with several different heads. This thing made me want to epilate. At best, he could get hair that was stubble. He has more tweezers. It took maybe 2 passes to clear the area. Maybe more or a very specific movement, if the hair was short enough I didn't know if it would be plucked. To my surprise, when I saw hair coming out of the skin, I was able to pull it out. However, THIS epilator will never get rid of stubble. Even regular shorts require 10 passes before being caught. And when it catches, I usually feel a tug or two before the hair is actually pulled out. It's ridiculous when you're trying to get random hair after the general pass gets bulk. But it's so much cheaper, you might not mind the extra work. Maybe I was just biased after using my Elite brand/model for 5 years before wanting a replacement (5 year old battery doesn't hold a charge as long as it used to and 2 years ago there was a big drop that broke the part that made the head shake, but it works the same if you can hold your head while using it). Real epilator. The third time I tried to charge it and it didn't charge. The charge light blinked green and then went off. It normally glows green until charging is complete. I messed up with the cable and charging port and it turned green and stayed on. When I picked it up the next morning I thought it was done. nope The thing engine groaned for half a second and then nothing. It didn't last that long on the second charge either. I thought maybe it's because it drains too much when not in use. So the battery life of this thing makes it useless crap. Even if its ancillary function was bearable for you, if you cannot use it, nothing is bearable. And I've honestly tried to get used to the fact that it doesn't work as well as Brown, but the battery issue gave me even more away. This takes long enough to get you outside the return window. Do not buy this if you intend to use it for hair removal. The cost of this thing is definitely less than its value. But be sure to buy this fun purse!
