Excellent lighting settings - different color temperature and intensity levels. Excellent light coverage with amber light to illuminate reading material or soft ambient light before bed. Strong gooseneck holds almost any position. The clamp is strong and can also be opened to allow the lamp to sit flat on a surface. BUT - The battery indicator is BLUE! This product is advertised as "block blue". In addition to the fact that amber light does not initially produce blue wavelengths, the presence of blue indicators eliminates the "blue light blocking" effect. That blue light is certainly not "blocked". For this reason I lowered my rating to 4 stars. A clever design would include a non-blue wavelength battery indicator light on a "blue-blocking" reading light.
