Review on πŸ“š Folio Cover Case for Microsoft Surface Pro 7, 6, 2017, 4, LTE/Pro 3 - Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard - Black by Brian Foster

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Based on previous Revain reviews I'm not sure which one suits me best

Anyone who has traveled by plane has found that the standard keyboard/cover that you buy as an add- on to your Surface (with the 4 Pro) does not balance on your knees and can even tip over with the seat shell. After this happened to me twice the first time I used the Surface on a plane, I chose a case that offered balance and protection. Based on previous Revain reviews, I wasn't sure which one would suit me best, so I bought and tested three cases: this one, the Fintie Surface Pro case, and the MoKo Surface Pro case. This case fits me best. This increases the size and weight slightly, but now significantly protects the surface when dropped. Additionally, it offers a level of stability whether I'm on my lap or on an airplane that the built-in kickstand just doesn't offer. However, all cases worked fairly well; The fintie case only got second place in my review because I thought the velcro to tilt the ProCase Premium worked a little better than the slots in the fintie case. First I put the .MoKo case in third place (since it was the cheapest case), but to be honest, as I'm using this case this week I'm impressed and have a higher opinion. All cases fit perfectly on my Surface; I haven't found any problems here. Because the lid covers the vents and all other function buttons are present on all three lids, I didn't notice any excessive heat. The body of the MoKo is made of hard plastic, while the Fintie has a soft plastic coating. ProCase has the best exterior finish. However, the Fintie case has its own loops for closing the case, while the Pro Case and MoKo come with ties that can be wrapped around the case to keep it closed. I preferred the fintie approach and was surprised at how well it worked. Happy with all three, but ProCase stands out for me.

  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
