I purchased this item based on an overall good review. When I received this item I connected one end of the LED tube to one of the power plugs and the LED lights worked great. I noticed that the connector on the other end was slightly bent out of the box; I wasn't paying close attention as the LEDs seemed to be working, but it turned out to be a big problem. A few days after installing the lights, I noticed the LEDs started flashing and within a few seconds smoke was coming out of the bent joint. Apparently the connector and hose next to it were burned out and black inside. I am very disappointed in the quality of the product. The plug had a fuse, but in this situation it didn't help at all. I think the connection probably came with some kind of broken wire inside. I was glad I was home when it happened otherwise there could have been a fire.
