I wish the material was a bit thicker but as far as I can tell it wasn't see through. I probably wouldn't order a lighter color. We order a black and blue uniform for her school uniform and it fits perfectly (6 years old) and stretches enough for her to play with. We ordered the black one with flowers as she loves it.
