.and uses the same Samsung LCD panel for $100 less. Mine worked right out of the box and had no dead pixels. I mainly use it for programming and text is very clear with DVI and VGA inputs. The backlight is very slightly dimmed at the edge of the screen but has no color effects (Apple users complained about the "pink" panels). With multiple inputs, I can use this monitor with my Mac, PC, and DVD at the same time. /Cable TV signal - plus RGB, S-Video and analog DVI inputs! The PIP feature allows me to watch TV in one window and use the rest of the screen for my computer monitor, great for late night channeling and web browsing. Equipped with a height-adjustable mechanism, the bar itself can still move and start bouncing when I'm typing really hard. An 86 inch spring and using a good plain hand screw would solve this problem. All in all very recommendable!
