For those with a basic knowledge of hand tools this thing is great and pretty easy to assemble. I didn't use any tool other than what was in the box. My top tips: 1. Be patient and take your time2. Gather in a well-lit area 3. Gather on a table or bench for stability4. PRECUT the screws into the plastic standoffs, then unscrew them before complete assembly. The speakers/stands are not pre-threaded by the manufacturer and this is likely to be frustrating for those who gave this product a poor review. Once you screw in the bottom speaker, the rest is EASY. I am not a paid advertiser and I have not been reimbursed in any way for this review.
