Having broken some of my reels I'm REALLY glad this one seems to be better made. The ends have plastic caps to prevent rubbing and squeaking. The metal spindles are also of high quality and I doubt they will break or unscrew as easily as other models I have tried. What really matters is how it feels - it's heavy, slim and overall feels like a much more expensive instrument than it actually is. The box is perfect as a gift. The packaging is minimalist in terms of branding. The box slides out of the lid and then unfolds with a magnetic closure to show you the reel inside. I have seen jewelry in worse packaging than this! Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and I think anyone looking for a good quality roller that won't break after a month of use will be happy with it too. .
