They offer good protection, although not nearly as good as the front set. The fit leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. This is a two piece set and I can't get them to fit together properly no matter what I do. I'm not thrilled that the part protecting the middle kit just sits on top of the other part. He gets kicked a lot, and while he doesn't move much, he's still very annoying and doesn't offer the best protection. They feel too short and don't go far enough under the seats. and for a car with so little legroom in the middle seat, that's a disadvantage. I think these things could be slightly improved. Good carpets, but for the price I would have expected more. They don't offer much more protection (if any) than any other full-size floor mat.
